Every Four Years, A Cause That Matters
This year, the cause is Education.
Fundraising for underprivileged children’s education initiatives in India, supporting organizations like CRY India, Akshaya Patra, and Nanhi Kali, as well as educational support for children who lost loved ones in the tragic Air India Flight 171 crash this June.
With a new school year around the corner, right now is a crucial time to give children school supplies, meals, clothing, and–above all–the right to education.
I truly believe education is the most powerful step we can take toward a better future and that every child deserves access.
I will be splitting up the money evenly among all the orgs, reaching out to them and buying whatever they are in need of the most and shipping it out! The Orgs: CRY India (supports children’s education and rights), Akshaya Patra (provides schools nutritious meals and clean water), Nanhi Kali (supports education for girls).
As part of the even split, one portion will be for the kids of the Air India crash victims. I will be contacting Vinod Khimji, who is raising money for the children and paying it forward similarly, with shipping out necessities for them.
Four years ago, during the peak of the COVID-19 crisis, I launched a small fundraiser with the goal of raising $1,000 to support relief efforts in India—providing water, food, clothing, medical supplies, and oxygen cylinders. Thanks to everyone's incredible generosity, that goal turned into $10,000. The impact we made together was unforgettable.
Recently, I was reminded of that impact– and inspired to make this a tradition. Every four years, I want to pause, reflect, and fundraise for a cause I deeply believe in.
If you’re able to contribute, your support would mean the world. Please reach out with any questions or to learn more.
Let’s make a difference– together, again.
