Empower Her Journey: Sponsor the TSP LALV SOLO

I am running/power walking the TSP LALV SOLO 2024, and as part of the Radical Equity Program, I am showing that a woman who did not come into running early in life has a place at the starting line. For much of my adult life, my dreams and potential was unsupported, discouraged, and eventually, I was made invisible. I raised my children to embrace and strive for dreams, taught my daughter to take up space in her world, and I encourage my students at a girls school to be fearless in believing in themselves and to discover their abilities by trying new things.

I'd appreciate your help in getting me to and across the starting line at the Santa Monica Pier on this odyssey, to get me through each of the 300+ miles, and see me cross the finish line in Las Vegas. You can do this in several ways:

*sponsor a mile...you can donate any amount and own a mile, you will get a shout out for your mile(s) when a recap is posted to my social media...this can be your mile, your child's mile, your pet's mile, a memorial mile. Feel free to bundle miles into distances:

> A donation of $75 (or more) sponsors a 10K (6.2 miles).

> A donation of $150 (or more) sponsors a Half Marathon (13.1 miles).

> A donation of $250 (or more) sponsors a Marathon (26.2 miles).

All sponsored miles/distances will be individually named for each day's distance on the recap shout out.

*sponsor a sunrise OR sponsor a sunset...no fiddler required! Beginning Monday, March 24th at 4am, I begin running. There will be 6 sunrises/6 sunsets until Vegas....maybe 7. Donate a minimum of $125 and choose your rise, set, or even which day of journey you'll sponsor...or ask me to select it for you! You will get a morning shout out, or evening shout out on the day of your sponsored rising/setting sun filmed and posted to social media.

*sponsor part of Vegas...the finish isn't the end. After more than 300 miles, and at least 6 days in an RV, I will need a room and shower, and probably a buffet. I will make it there, your sponsorship towards Vegas will go directly to my recovery. Want more? For a humorous twist, an additional donation to Vegas will be to see how many toenails survived my trek. Luck be a Lady!!

*sponsor travel...the miles between LA and Las Vegas are the only ones I want to have to do on foot. Airfare will get me there and home, donations towards that will be greatly appreciated.
