Hi! I’m Allissa — a final-year Master of Exercise Physiology student with an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Nepal this November/December 2025. This experience will allow me to combine my passion for healthcare with hands-on work to improve community health where it’s needed most.

This unique program allows me to directly contribute to community health promotion projects in Nepal, where health education and access to care are urgently needed. However, the entire program is completely self-funded, and that’s why I’m reaching out for your support.

Why Nepal?

Nepal faces urgent health challenges due to its mountainous geography, limited healthcare infrastructure, and socioeconomic barriers. Non-communicable diseases, poor mental health, malnutrition, and environmental health issues are just a few of the challenges communities face every day.

Through this program, I’ll be working directly with with local schools, women’s groups, and healthcare facilities to support long-term, sustainable change in community health. These are not just short-term efforts, they’re projects designed to build capacity, educate, and empower.
