My name is Hannah Carey I'm 17 years old and a Senior at Black Forest Academy in south Germany. I was born and raised in Germany and have grown up as a Missionary Kid my whole life.

I was very young when I accepted the Lord as my savior however my faith never really became my own until I started attending BFA which opened the doors for God to work in my life, show his faithfulness and for me to take ownership of my relationship with Him.

BFA has given me opportunities to embrace and grow in my faith through serving as a leader on worship team, mentoring girls as a middle school small group leader, and through having mentors and adults who pour into me personally on my journey.

Having grown up as a missionary kid, I never really saw myself personally serving missionally outside of what my family had been doing in our day to day. This is the one area where God has truly been pruning, growing and changing my heart while here at school. I've seen how my relationship with God has become my own, and not the faith of my parents, and I've seen how my relationship with Him brings so much joy, fruit, and more in my life. Its because of this that I too want to share my story missionally and see others embrace Jesus as I have come to.

I'm very excited to have the opportunity to do just this in my first week of Spring break. I will be on a team that is heading to Hong Kong!

Our team will be partnering with an organization called "Sports for Life" which is dedicate to unifying communities and bringing people together through soccer. While it is focused around soccer, the trip will also involve community service, interactive leadership training, sport outreach in schools, and home visits.

This trip speaks directly to the areas in my life that bring me joy and also lean in to what I plan to study in College. I currently am on the Soccer team here at BFA and am looking to study elementary ed .

In order to make this trip possible I will need to raise $2,500.00. This amount will cover my travel, housing, food and vaccines required for my trip.
