Hi, world. I am Haley, a 32-year-old high school humanities and Spanish teacher who is working hard to create the life of my dreams as a body worker and holistic healer, a teacher of a mind-body-spirit set of skills. I believe in the power of our body’s innate wisdom and aim to support people, including teenagers and young women, to heal trauma through their holistic systems. This pursuit involves up-leveling my training from Hatha and restorative yoga teacher to practitioner courses in massage, cranial sacral, somatic, and lymphatic therapy. Courses like these will allow me to gain more knowledge and wisdom about the body, but also to start a qualified business where I can help people from all walks of life ground into their lived experience and move through physical and emotional pain in order to live fully embodied experiences. My biggest goal, ever since I was 12 years old, has been to open an international school where women and girls can gather to experience the fullness of a creative life, to be in communion with nature, to feel safe and seen, and to experience healing in community. Trainings like these, amongst many others, will allow me to walk the path towards opening that school: W.I.S.E (Women’s Institute for the Spiritually Educated).

Because of my years as a teacher, wilderness guide, mental health worker, and global traveller, I have always lived on a humble salary with minimal savings. I am devoted to doing work that is of service, and I see this opportunity as my next iteration in that calling.
