Helping Hala's Family: Provide Stability and Renew Hope
Donation protected
Hello, I’m Jess from Oregon. As a close friend of Hala and the Almziny family, I have come to understand the dire situation they are facing. It is heartbreaking to see such a vibrant family struggle to meet their basic needs. Therefore, we are shifting our campaign's focus to directly address their most urgent requirements.
Their story:
We enjoyed a happy and modest life until last year, when events in Gaza unfolded.
On the very first day, our beautiful home was destroyed, and we lost everything we owned. We have been displaced multiple times to various locations, all lacking even the most basic necessities for survival—no water, electricity, food, cleaning supplies, or medicine.

My remarkable siblings, Hala and Sama, have not attended school for over a year. They now spend their days searching for water and food, often standing in long lines to obtain a little water and flour. My two-year-old sister, Lama, is suffering from malnutrition, while my brother Mohanad has contracted hepatitis C due to infection and food scarcity. My mother urgently needs surgery, but there is no medication or treatment available.

Our hopes have dwindled as we live in a tent on the rubble of a destroyed building. We desperately need assistance to find stability and regain our health. If we could settle in temporary housing, my siblings could return to school.

Your contributions can have a profound impact on Hala's family's well-being and future. Whether it's a donation, spreading the word, or offering resources, every effort counts. Together, we can help them regain stability, health, and hope.
Thank you for your continued support and generosity. Let's work together to make a tangible difference in their lives.
Your support will offer much needed relief to parents, Fadel and Doaa Almziny, along with their children: Hala (17), Alaa (13), Sama (10), Mohanad (9) and Lama (2).
Their most urgent needs are covering basic essentials for their family of seven. Food, water, medications, clothing and shelter.
