Empower Gunnar Hager's Marine Research Journey

My name is Gunnar Hager, and for as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a marine biologist, for which I have just finished obtaining my bachelor's degree at Colorado State University.

This past semester, I was able to fund a study abroad trip to Mexico where I experienced field research firsthand and instantly fell in love with it. This opportunity helped me understand what I endeavor for in my occupational future, and I believe that this 3-month excursion to Fiji will enlighten me further.

Not only will it give me 3 months of on-site field experience with research processes, but it will also provide me with 2 scuba diving certifications and strengthen my resume for when I return to school to obtain my master's.

Any and all help means the world to me-- I'll be working as much and as hard as I can to obtain this dream of mine; but it is truly you that can make a difference.
