Support Camp GLOW Grenada – Empower Future Leaders!
Hi, my name is Ayisha John, and I’m raising funds for Camp GLOW Grenada (Girls Leading Our World), a transformative leadership retreat empowering young women across Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique. Founded in 2012 by U.S. Peace Corps volunteers and local Grenadian counterparts, Camp GLOW is dedicated to educating, nurturing, and inspiring Grenada's future leaders through interactive sessions, workshops, and sisterhood bonding. Over the years, this week-long sleep-away camp has equipped hundreds of young women with the tools to succeed in life, education, and leadership. Many former campers have gone on to graduate from SGU, UWI, and TAMCC, becoming teachers, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and leaders in their communities. In fact, some of our current camp directors are former campers, a testament to the transformative impact of this program.
However, in recent years, we have faced financial challenges due to the discontinuation of funding from the U.S. Peace Corps, which previously played a key role in supporting our program. Without this critical funding, we are relying on the generosity of individuals like you to help us continue this life-changing work. Your donation will help cover the costs of lodging, transportation, meals, supplies, and the enriching programs that make Camp GLOW such a transformative experience for the young women of Grenada.
Together, we can continue to empower future leaders, providing them with the confidence, knowledge, and skills to create positive change in their schools, communities, and beyond. Please donate and share our campaign to support this vital initiative. Thank you for helping us invest in the future of Grenada’s young women!
