Empower Girls in Hargeisa
This Ramadan, let’s come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of girls and women in Hargeisa, Somaliland by supporting the Cayn Al-Huda Centre, a place of hope, learning, and empowerment. Founded in 2020 by four inspiring women, the centre provides education and community support to 230 students—ranging from young girls aged 6 to mothers aged 70. In a society where girls are often overlooked, Cayn Al-Huda is breaking barriers and transforming lives through education, compassion, and opportunity.
How Your Support Helps:
Teacher Salaries: $100 per month ensures a dedicated teacher can continue educating and inspiring young minds.
Ramadan Food Parcels: Provide essential food supplies to struggling families, ensuring they can break their fast with dignity and joy.
Classroom Construction: Help build additional classrooms to accommodate more students and create a better learning environment.
Curriculum Expansion: Introduce vital subjects like mathematics, Somali, Arabic, and vocational skills to prepare students for a brighter future.
Our Impact:
In a society where boys are often prioritized, Cayn Al-Huda ensures girls and women have access to education and opportunities.
Holistic Education: From Quran memorization to reading, writing, and vocational training, the centre equips students with the tools to succeed.
Community Support: Beyond education, the centre provides food parcels during Ramadan and breakfast for students, fostering care and solidarity.
Our Vision:
To provide quality education to girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
