Dear Family, Friends and Supporters,

I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request for help in supporting my mother, Gina. Over the past many years, Gina has been battling a progressive neurological condition (multiple sclerosis) that has gradually limited her mobility. Despite her resilient spirit, everyday tasks have become increasingly challenging for her.

My mother is the epitome of strength and grace, but her current mobility aid no longer meets her needs. As her condition has progressed, she now requires a power wheelchair to regain her independence and navigate the world around her with ease along with address positioning needs.

A power wheelchair that meets her needs would not only enhance her mobility and positioning but also improve her quality of life by enabling her to engage in activities she loves, such as spending time with her family, cooking, and being outside.

In addition to the power wheelchair, she also needs assistance with making her home and community more accessible. This includes the cost of building or installing ramps to facilitate entry and exit from her home, as well as a vehicle lift to transport her power wheelchair, enabling her to participate in community activities and outings.

Unfortunately, the cost of these seating and mobility and accessibility modifications is beyond our family’s financial means. It breaks my heart to see her struggle with simple tasks that most of us take for granted but she’s stubborn so she keeps on fighting.

Your generosity and support would mean the world to her and our family. With your help, we can provide her with the power wheelchair she needs to regain her independence and continue living life to the fullest.
