The Boingotlo Honorary is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting the healthcare and wellness sector by sponsoring deserving students to pursue studies in nursing.

This noble project honors a nurse who, through her professional commitment and compassion, extended her care beyond the workplace into the wider community — offering her services selflessly and without expectation of reward.

It is through this spirit of generosity that Boingotlo’s warm heart continues to inspire others to give back to their communities. Affectionately known as Boi, she has always recognized the transformative power of education. Following the passing of her beloved husband, she channeled her grief into purpose, finding comfort and healing in her nursing journey. Her dedication culminated in her graduation from the University of Botswana, where she earned her qualification with distinction.

Originally from Kanye, Botswana, Boingotlo embarked on her nursing career after completing her secondary education at Seepapitso Senior Secondary School. She then travelled by train to Francistown, in northern Botswana, to begin her formal nursing studies — a journey that marked the start of a lifelong commitment to care, compassion, and community service.

Today, we celebrate and honor a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and a devoted servant of God and humanity. We invite the global community to join hands in supporting this noble cause.
