I want to take a moment to speak from the heart. These last two years of running my business have been anything but easy. They’ve stretched me, refined me, tested me, humbled me, and grown me in ways I never expected. Some days felt like I was cruising with the sunroof open, full of clarity and momentum. Other days felt like my tank was on E, praying for the next rest stop to appear. Through all of it, one lesson has become very clear: I cannot do this alone. Asking for help is okay, and it’s something I’m learning to embrace. That’s one of the reasons I’m here seeking support for my Second Annual Intentional Leadership Conference, happening February 6th-8th at the San Diego Made Factory.
For those who know my story, you know that back in 2023 I endured a 4.5-month investigation at work after being falsely accused. It was one of those seasons that shakes you to your core, when you realize strength alone can’t carry you. But what I’m most proud of is that I didn’t let that experience push me out, break me down, or define me. When it was over, I made a voluntary choice to walk awaynot in defeat, but in power. I recognized that I didn’t have to stay in spaces misaligned with who I was becoming. Leaving corporate wasn’t part of the plan, but choosing myself absolutely was. And out of that storm out of the pressure, the clarity, and the rebuilding came something intentional: the very first Intentional Leadership Conference.
Last year’s event was intimate and more impactful than I imagined. Afterward, the women in that room looked at me and said, “Coach C… this cannot be the last one.” I felt that deeply in my purpose, and in my bones. And that’s why I’m here but this time I'm asking for help so we can bring year two to life in a way that truly honors the women who show up for it.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward the pieces that make this experience meaningful and seamless. This includes the venue costs at the San Diego Made Factory, the themed décor and road-mapped floor designs that anchor our signature experience, catering for the Friday networking night and Sunday VIP brunch, swag bag items, materials for workshops and breakout rooms, audio and visual support, insurance, check-in systems, and general logistics needed to create a polished and intentional event. It will also cover the cost ofone keynote speaker to close out the conference someone whose story and message will leave the room full, grounded, and inspired.
Your support no matter the amount truly matters. It helps ensure that this conference remains accessible, intentional, and transformational. It helps me continue building the community I wish I had during the hardest season of my life. And most importantly, it supports a space where women can sit down their armor, reconnect with themselves, and rise again with clarity and confidence. Thank you for believing in me, believing in this mission, and helping make the Second Annual Intentional Leadership Conference possible. Your support genuinely fuels this work, and I am so grateful.
