For the past two years, I’ve been doing what many leaders do quietly building something meaningful while navigating pressure, pivots, and seasons no one prepares you for. Entrepreneurship has stretched me, refined me, and sharpened my discernment. There were moments of momentum and moments of recalibration, and both taught me the same truth: sustainable leadership is never built in isolation. Strategic support is not weakness it’s wisdom.
In 2023, I experienced a defining moment that reshaped my leadership path. After a 4.5-month investigation rooted in false accusations, I was faced with a decision many Black women leaders know too well stay in a space that no longer aligned, or choose myself fully. I chose myself. Not out of emotion, but out of clarity and power. Walking away from corporate leadership wasn’t the original plan, but building something intentional, aligned, and impactful absolutely was. That decision gave birth to the Intentional Leadership Conference.
Last year’s inaugural conference exceeded every expectation. It was intimate, grounded, and deeply transformative. And the message I heard consistently from the women in the room was clear: this work must continue. Year two is not about starting over it’s about scaling with intention.
That’s why I’ve launched this GoFundMe fundraiser in support of the Second Annual Intentional Leadership Conference, happening February 6–8 at the San Diego Made Factory. The funds raised will be applied directly to the infrastructure that makes this experience seamless and impactful: venue costs, road-mapped floor design and décor, catering for the Friday networking experience and Sunday VIP brunch, workshop and breakout materials, audio/visual production, insurance, check-in systems, swag bags, and overall event logistics. It will also support securing a keynote speaker whose message will anchor the experience and leave attendees grounded, affirmed, and equipped.
This fundraiser is not about survival it’s about stewardship. It’s about ensuring this leadership experience remains accessible, well-resourced, and executed with excellence. Supporting this GoFundMe is a decision to invest in a space where women can put down the armor, reconnect with their leadership identity, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
If this mission resonates, I invite you to support in a way that feels aligned by donating, sharing, or simply amplifying the vision. Every contribution fuels the infrastructure behind the impact. Thank you for standing with me, believing in this work, and helping move intentional leadership forward.
