Help Teen Robot Builders Get a 3D Printer
Donation protected
I'm Adam Steadman, Robot Overlord at Atom's Garage & Robot Lab.
I was recently asked to help a small group of students in Billings, MT with their competition robot build. They needed some help designing and 3D printing a part for a competition taking place in less than 2 weeks. The 3D printers they have are older and better suited for people who like to tinker with the machines rather than just print the parts they need. I'm hoping to raise $400 to get them a new, BambuLabs A1 3D printer that will suit them better.
I have already printed the parts they needed for the upcoming competition, but would like them to have a good tool that will help enhance their robot-building skills in the future.
Currently, the A1 printer is on sale for $299 plus shipping. The goal of $400 will cover the cost of the printer and shipping. Itvwill also give them a couple of rolls of plastic filament to get them started with the new machine.
These are bright, highly motivated kids. Your small investment in them will go a long way.
I'm hoping to reach this goal in 24 hours in order to take advantage of the sale. When the goal is met, the fundraiser will be closed.
Thank you in advance for helping me help them!
