When you imagine the ideal person designing your child’s curriculum, building educational experiences and leading hands-on workshops, what kind of person do you picture?
Hi, I'm Faith! As a science museum professional and educational designer, I strive to create visually intriguing and intellectually stimulating STEM learning opportunities for a wide range of audiences (about 70K+ people a year).
As a lifelong learner, I've been accepted to the Learning Design, Innovation and Technology (LDIT) program at Harvard, which is is one of the oldest and most prestigious educational media programs in the world. My goal is to learn from the best in the business and as a result, evolve into a more effective and impactful learning designer, media specialist and educational inventor.
Unfortunately -- due to the recent changes to the funding landscape in higher education -- I may not be able to gain access to the knowledge base, resources, mentorship and connections that have historically been accessible by very *limited* demographics (if you know what I mean).
I am confident that my unique identity, background, experiences and interests are sure to be a rarity on campus and will help me to succeed -- I just need your support to help me get there.

- As an LPAC chair on campus, I directly supported emergent bilingual education for several hundred students from countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia
- Elected to the District Advisory Committee to serve alongside the Superintendent and several other key stakeholders in the community
- As lead educator at a popular science museum in DFW, I have created and led hundreds of workshops on various topics such as 3D printing, coding, robotics, engineering, mapmaking and measurement for more than 180K attendees
- Many performances as my high school mascot (lol), in musical theatre and as UT Austin Miss Gold 2017
- Showcased my original art at the Oak Cliff Art Walk
- Studied abroad in Cape Town, interned as home health aide at YMCA Athlone, enjoyed classes on urban economic development
- Researched somatic hypermutation and immune response at the National Institutes of Health
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your support, as any amount helps. I greatly and sincerely appreciate you!
Warmly,
