Help Essence Johnson Advance in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets!

My name is Roni Minter, and I am reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of my 16-year-old granddaughter, Essence Johnson. Essence is a dedicated member of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, a program that instills leadership, discipline, and a commitment to service. She now has an incredible opportunity to advance to a higher rank by completing her basic training.

The training will take place at a Naval Base in Massachusetts, where she will spend nine days on base. As her grandmother, I will accompany her to ensure she gets there safely and remain in the area during her training. This exciting step forward comes with financial challenges, and I am asking for your support to help us make it possible.

We are raising $2,000 to cover the following costs:

$1,000 to the Albany Sea Cadets for the cost of her basic training (as outlined by her commanding officer).

$1,000 for travel and lodging expenses during our time in Massachusetts. My mobility restrictions makes this expenses a bit more challenging
