J&J Vision Statement

This is my official letter of intention: a clear declaration of my mission, my motivation, and my commitment behind launching my first company—J&J Vision.
The Vision
J&J Vision is dedicated to revitalizing the beautiful communities in and around my university, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Our goal is to buy, renovate, and restore abandoned and foreclosed homes—not for profit alone, but to bring life, dignity, and livable affordability back into our neighborhoods, without the weight of gentrification.
✍️ The Story & Sacrifice
In my 20 years of life, I’ve faced more than my fair share of unique and challenging experiences. But through it all, I’ve gained something priceless: marketable skills, resilience, and a passion for change. I’ve come to the realization that my gifts deserve a platform—a space where I can bring everything I have to offer, all at once.
As a newly grown man in this world, I am choosing to lead with style, integrity, and intention. I want to be the kind of change-maker that others look to—not just for inspiration, but for results. A trendsetter with substance. A scholar with a soul.
The Why
I’m the son of two brilliant people—one a driven and bold narcissistic father, the other a beautiful, resilient, and business-savvy mother who is in recovery and reinvention. I have seen brilliance shadowed by distraction, and talent complicated by life. But I’ve also seen how love, wisdom, and pain poured into me shaped a man who believes he can do better—not just for himself, but for his family and his community.
My dream is to create a purposeful, profitable, and people-first business that helps me earn an honest living as a college student, while giving back in ways that truly matter.
The Ask
I ask you to invest in a 20-year-old college student with vision, passion, and drive. With the mentorship of my school officials and the support of those who believe in meaningful change, I know I can tackle this mission head-on.
This is not a letter of blame. This is not a bash. This is a blueprint for a better future—one house, one block, one dream at a time.
