DC HOSA—Future Health Professionals is on a mission to equip students with the skills, confidence, and real-world experiences they need to thrive in the dynamic world of health sciences.

We’re opening doors for aspiring healthcare leaders in Washington, DC—middle and high schoolers who dream of careers in medicine, public health, and emergency response. Each year, we support 500 to 700 passionate students ready to learn, lead, and one day serve their communities. But too often, financial barriers stand in the way of these life-changing opportunities.

Now more than ever, we need your help:

Running this program costs around $70,000 each year, per local chapter, but only a small portion of that is covered in the school’s annual budget. The rest? We rely on the generosity of people like you.

Your donation will help cover or reduce the cost of travel, supplies, and training for over 100 students. With your support, they can attend the HOSA International Leadership Conference, earn mental health first aid certification, obtain CPR training, and train with real medical tools. We’re urgently in need of items like CPR mannequins, diagnostic kits, and EMT supplies, and public health essentials—equipment that turns classroom learning into real-world preparation.
