Hello!

My name is Mallory Tyler, and I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist as a graduate student at Fort Hays State University.

Thanks to my university, I have an incredible opportunity to volunteer in Belize, where I can apply my education and passion for helping others. This trip is specifically designed for students like me who are eager to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others as well as gain clinical and cultural experiences.

In Belize, I'll be working with children and their families who have communication disorders, providing much-needed support and therapy. Our work will involve not only direct treatment but also educating families on how to support their children's communication development. This experience will not only enhance my skills as a future clinician but also allow me to give back to a community that lacks access to essential speech and language services.
