At Columbus Youth Media Group, we believe in the power of young voices.

In the heart of Columbus, there are brilliant, creative, and passionate young people with stories to tell—but not always the tools to tell them. That’s where we come in.

We're building a safe, empowering media literacy space where youth—especially those from underserved communities—can learn how to think critically, create confidently, and use media as a tool for change. Through hands-on programs in journalism, photography, filmmaking, podcasting, and digital storytelling, we’re helping students become not just consumers of media, but creators and leaders.

Our after-school and summer programs don’t just teach skills—they ignite confidence, build community, and create pathways to real careers in media, tech, and communication.

But to get this off the ground, we need your help.

We’re currently raising startup funds to launch our first wave of programming. Your donation will directly support student access to tools, mentorship, and life-changing opportunities. Here's how you can sponsor their journey:

Full Program Sponsor $500 Covers one student’s full media camp experience (supplies, gear access, meals, and field trip)
