Supporting Coco and Sucre’s Education in Memory of Nyala

On January 1, 2026, our community lost someone incredibly special — Nyala Wright Nolen. Nyala was a loving, devoted mother to her two beautiful children, Coco and Sucre, and her greatest hope was always that they would grow up supported, educated, and surrounded by opportunity.

This fund is being created by friends and extended family of the Wrights in memory of Nyala and will be stewarded by her family to support Coco and Sucre’s educational needs — including school expenses, enrichment programs, tutoring, extracurricular activities, and future learning opportunities — in a way that reflects Nyala’s values and hopes for her children.

All donations will go directly toward supporting Coco and Sucre’s growth and education so that they can continue to learn, dream, and thrive despite the unimaginable loss they’ve experienced.
