Empower Chris's Fresh Start in Belize

Hi, my name is Chris and I am fundraising to start the next phase of my life.

After a particularly traumatic last few years, I have been left with only a few small belongings and my dog.

I am currently living with a friend, and have been trying to get a job (I have a Master's degree) for over 6 months. Losing my car makes things more difficult, but I am currently pursuing multiple options to retool myself.

I am in the process of obtaining Google certifications in IT and learning how to install solar panels as well. Both of these things will take time, and I'm still currently unable to make money until I finish.

My passport will be about $200.

I am very experienced as an Uber driver and could also start to make money on my own if I get $500 to rent a car and drive full-time as I get my certifications.

Honestly, this is very difficult for me as I do not like to ask for help. Another friend urged me to do this, which I have resisted up until now.

Another of my plans is to move to Belize with a friend who is starting a homestead and B & B business there in the jungle. I need funds to not only obtain my passport, but also to purchase jungle-appropriate clothing and gear. I will also need funds to assist me in traveling to my new home. Another immediate need will be to get my dog up to date on all of his shots, as I can't leave him!!

I plan to move there in January of next year, but may also move to Florida in the meantime to prepare (my friend I am moving to Belize with lives there now).

Anything will help, and I plan on vlogging my adventure in Belize as well.
