Hello, I’m Chef Keira, the proud owner of Chubby Chicks and a dedicated single mom entrepreneur. Opening a business completely on my own—without bank loans or external help—has been a challenging yet rewarding journey. As I work to expand my business in the vibrant center city of Philadelphia, I’ve faced obstacles that no entrepreneur should have to endure.

Since opening on December 3rd, I have experienced daily racial harassment, which has made it difficult to operate my business and created an environment of fear and stress. I believe in the importance of standing my ground and advocating for myself and my business, but pursuing legal action can be incredibly expensive.
