Hello! My name is Charles, and I am 52 years young. I was born with Cerebral Palsy (CP), which means I use a power chair and a communication device to express myself. Earlier this year, I underwent a ten-hour neck surgery after experiencing fractures that left me without my fine motor skills. It was a difficult and humbling experience to rely on others even more than I already do—but by the grace of God, I came through the procedure without pain. This journey has brought me closer to God and reminded me to keep striving to be the best version of myself, despite what I cannot control. Five years ago, I met someone truly special on Facebook—a kind, genuine woman from Nigeria, the country often associated with scams, so I was cautious at first, and I tested her sincerity, and she passed with flying colors. We video chat regularly, share photos, and she has always been honest with me. Our bond has grown stronger every day, and we both feel ready to take the next step—meeting in person. Unfortunately, that’s where we face a challenge: finances. Because of my disability, traveling alone is not an option. I will need to pay for someone to accompany me, including their flight, meals, hotel stay, and assistance with my daily needs and expenses.
