Empower Cedric's Future: 4-H Japan Exchange Program
Donation protected
Hi!
My name is Cedric and I'm a high school student trying to go overseas this summer to Japan for 2 months. This trip is for educational and career purposes that involves a great organization called 4-H. You might me wondering, what is 4-H? Well, 4-H is a youth development organization that aspires to help youths to learn about all sorts of topics, gain life skills, and prepare for their coming adult lives. To achieve their goals, the advisors who run the program want their kids to "learn by doing." This also adds to help the youth to serve their community and "to make the best, better."
Another part of 4-H is the International Exchange Program. This allows selected delegates to fly to other countries to emerge themselves in the country to learn, gain experiences, and to also have fun by being apart of the culture. The countries that offer the ability to travel and visit this year are: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Argentina and Costa Rica.
This year, I have been accepted to represent my state: North Carolina, and my country: United States of America, by going to Japan. I also believe this is a great opportunity and experience for me because in the future, I wish to be a lawyer; specifically, an immigration lawyer. With what I wish to gain with this experience, I hope it can help me with my future schools and for my future occupation.
I hope with this small description, I can gain your help achieve my goal and be able to visit a great country to gain experiences, knowledge and memories, and to prepare for my profession in the near future. No matter how much you donate, any amount will be a great blessing and support for my goal.
