Real Fringe Hair Bands creates a product for anyone experiencing hair loss, such as Oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and Alopecia Areata patients. Real human hair is used, ultimately from the patient’s own hair that is collected before their hair falls out, or alternatively it is donated by our generous donors. A single band will be made, and depending on the amount of hair collected. Each RFHB is unique.

"Our dream is that everyone who is going to lose hair from chemotherapy or whole head radiotherapy KNOW they can cut their OWN HAIR within 2 weeks from starting the first chemotherapy, and can have their own Confident Locks made WITH THEIR OWN HAIR ON IT!! Money raised will be used to promote this via media.. by boosting social media posts, paying for PR specialist... etc.
Our hair bands are made from soft and comfortable elastic and are designed to be worn underneath other head wear such as hats, scarves, turbans, head wraps, beanies, etc. The unique Real Fringe patented designs give the patients a “real fringe” effect (hence our name!) that looks easy and natural.
No other hair product maker in Australia accepts dyed human hair (and natural hair too) that is a minimum of 15 cm, but we do!
All our hair bands are handmade with love right here in Melbourne and Adelaide, Australia. We believe in supporting local workers and local businesses and take great pride in keeping our production local. So donating to us means knowing where your hair and money are going.
