Hello, my name is Coach Chris Astacio, and I am the co-founder of Heal Home, a girls' softball league based in the Bronx, New York. Alongside our founder, Coach James Hernandez, we are dedicated to empowering at-risk young women through the sport of softball, helping them excel both on and off the field. Our efforts have been recognized by incredible organizations like the New York Yankees and PAL (Police Athletic League).

This year, we are thrilled to offer our girls an extraordinary opportunity: a trip to North Carolina to meet former MLB player CJ Beatty, participate in professional softball drills, compete in tournament games, and visit North Carolina State University. For many of these young women, this trip represents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to grow as athletes and individuals.

Many of our players face significant challenges in their daily lives, and being part of Heal Home offers them mentorship, structure, and a support system that helps them navigate tough circumstances. How Funds Will Be Used

We are raising funds to cover transportation, lodging, and food for 30 girls. Here’s a breakdown of estimated costs:

Transportation: $5,000 (bus rental for the team)

Lodging: $4,500 (accommodations for three nights)

Meals: $3,000 (three meals per day for four days)

Every dollar raised will go directly toward ensuring these young women have the opportunity to experience this incredible journey.
