Empower Blackstone Academy's Yearbook Club
Donation protected
The Blackstone Academy Charter School yearbook club, known as The Vault, believes strongly in our motto "everyone's story, everyone's book." We want every member of our school to see themselves reflected in our pages, and we don't want financial difficulties to hold students back from being able to take part in this critical aspect of school culture- $25 will cover the cost of a yearbook for a student who cannot otherwise afford one.
Our diverse student body is composed of immigrants and children of immigrants, first generation college-bound scholars, students who receive free and reduced lunch, and student-athletes who find the time to work part time jobs for gas money. It is incredibly important to us that our yearbooks are of the highest quality for our tight-knit, hardworking community, but we firmly believe no student at our Title I school should pay more for their yearbook than what we pay to print them. This policy means that we operate on a $0 budget and print only as many books as students will purchase.
This year, we want to be able to offer yearbook scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to purchase a book and provide free yearbooks to all members of our yearbook staff (who, on average, contribute over 90 hours of work in and out of class to the club).
Please help contribute to our cause!
