I am the founder and director of the Blackfeet Nation Boxing Club located on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, MT. I've been coaching children from the ages of 8-18 in the art and sport of boxing for 23 years. These children are usually high-risk and need mentoring and prevention. I talk to these kids about anti-suicide, drug and alcohol prevention, anti-bullying, and help improve their self-esteem. A lot of these children come from families that are financially challenged, so we are looking for donations that could help our club with registration fees, utility bills for our building, vehicle maintenance for the club van, workout equipment, competition gear and equipment, and assistance with the cost to travel to competition events.
