Empowering the Next Generation of BIPOC Yoga Teachers
Hi, my name is Khadijah, and I am the proud owner of The Yogapolates Studio. For the past eight years, I have dedicated my life to sharing the healing power of movement, mindfulness, and breathwork. Now, I’m on a mission to make yoga teacher training (YTT) accessible for underprivileged BIPOC communities—because representation matters, and wellness should be for everyone.
Yoga has been a transformative force in my life, but I know firsthand that high costs and limited opportunities often keep marginalized communities from stepping onto the mat, let alone becoming certified teachers. I want to change that.
With your support, I will create an affordable and inclusive YTT program that removes financial barriers and uplifts aspiring teachers who have the passion but not the resources. This initiative will not only provide scholarships but also foster a supportive space where BIPOC individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered.
Your donation will go toward:
• Scholarships for trainees who cannot afford traditional YTT programs
• Educational materials & resources to make training accessible and enriching
• Studio space & faculty support to ensure high-quality instruction
By contributing, you’re not just funding a program—you’re helping to cultivate a new generation of diverse yoga leaders who will bring wellness into their communities.
Let’s rewrite the narrative. Let’s make yoga accessible to all.
With gratitude,
Khadijah
