Empower Angie's Mission with YWAM

Hi friends and family, I've applied and been accepted to YWAM Matamata for a Crossroads DTS! YWAM is Youth With A Mission, a Christian missions organization originally started for young people, and their Crossroads program is for 30 and above. That's me! Matamata is in New Zealand! And DTS stands for Discipleship Training School. It is a 5-month-long program. The first 3 months are classes and training on going deeper into your identity with Jesus, what it means to be a daughter of God, and ways to share His love with others. Then 2 months TBD of outreach and ministry.

Why am I going? Well, a few years ago, God asked me to start dreaming again. It had been a while, but He'd been healing my heart, preparing me for this. But I didn't know what to dream. So I asked Him to tell me His dream for me. Since then, He's realized several small dreams for me. Then, New Year's of 2024, I heard Him say, dream big. At the time, I had a bunch of debt and no money in the bank. I was dealing with an injury and not able to work. So much has happened since. He encouraged me to end the job of 20 years and accept a settlement. Now I'm debt-free! I'm in a unique position in life, where I'm more free to say yes than ever before. God then started bringing up old dreams that had always seemed impossible. One of them is to do a YWAM DTS. So, I started doing research and found programs for 30+. And New Zealand kept coming up.

I leave Feb 5th. Please pray for me for both phases of this trip: the learning and the outreach. Would you please consider supporting me financially as well for the outreach phase? $5,000 will cover food, housing, insurance, and my storage unit back home just during the outreach phase.
