Hello! My name is Ashley Clark and I am currently a senior at Grand Valley State University's Seidman College of Business studying Marketing and Management. While enrolled at GVSU, I am a part of many extracurricular organizations such as the American Marketing Association, Professional Sales Association, Women in Business, and the Seidman Mentorship Program.

An opportunity has arisen through the Seidman Mentorship Program for four students and myself to travel to Krakow, Poland this upcoming May. This trip is a pilot program where will be there to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of the partnership between GVSU and the Krakow University of Economics. During this trip, we will be paired with a UEK student who is enrolled in their Mentorship Program and a Polish professional mentor. These pairings will be very beneficial for me because I have always wanted to travel, meet new people from different cultures, see how other countries conduct business, and I have had a dream of working in business abroad.

Alongside the pairings, we have been invited to the 100-year celebration of the UEK existence. This event will allow us to network with other businessmen and women in Kraków along with faculty, staff, and other students of the university. We will also be doing some sightseeing to the Historic Centre of Kraków, the Wieliczka Salt Mines, The Wawel Royal Castle, and Auschwitz- Birkenau as well to fully immerse ourselves in the culture and sights.

This journey is a truly unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I may never have this chance again. That's why I'm reaching out for support in making this incredible trip a reality. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to networking with amazing people, eating delicious food, visiting key parts of history, and experiencing Europe for the very first time!
