Empower Arvi's Leadership Dreams
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Arvi Prajapati, and I'm a 7th grader at Colonia Middle school. Recently, I was nominated by one of my educators to attend the Junior National Youth Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C. The JrNYLC is designed to teach virtues of leadership, democracy, and citizenship. By participating in the "Voices of Change" project, I will learn about communication, goal setting, problem solving, and teamwork. Mainly, this program encourages students to make a positive difference in their schools and communities.
A little bit about me is that I am a straight-A, honor roll student, dancer, class officer of the Student Council, a member of the DEI Council, the NJHS, and a community volunteer. Primarily, I am in need of financial aid for tuition and transportation costs. By attending the Youth Leaders Conference, I will gain experience that will put me in the forefront of the change in the society. It will also amplify my passion for helping the public and bringing the values of leadership to my community. I believe that this will be a greatly transformative experience that will help shape my future.
What you can do to help is donate, spread the word, and support my cause. The cost to attend the conference is about $3,200 which includes tuition fee, lodging, food and access to historical landmarks and monuments for one week. With your help, it can be made possible for me to attend the Jr. National Youth Leaders Conference! Thank you for your time and support.
