Hi! My name is Anela, and I have just been nominated by my teacher, Mr. Westbrooks KWHS, to attend NYLF Law & CSI in Washington, DC, this July for college credit at George Mason University.

Tuition alone is $4,400 to attend, and I have already achieved a grant of $440.

I have also been accepted to ID Tech @ Georgie Tech to learn coding this summer.

I truly feel this experience will help expand my knowledge of the world and shed light on future career paths I want to pursue.

My mom is a hardworking individual who can't afford to pay out of pocket for my experiences but would still like for me to be able to participate in opportunities presented and follow my own dreams.

I have learned that to be able to climb in life, I have to go after every opportunity and not let money stop me. Living in a high-expense town, she has made ends meet for us because she knows her children are great investments in the future, and not a single penny will go to waste.
