As Amber's midwifery mentor and preceptor for the last few years, I have seen her evolve from a birth assistant who was eager to learn and serve families to a full-fledged midwife ready to take on the (birth) world! I am so proud of her perseverance, dedication, integrity, and commitment to serving the families in our local community. I have witnessed her metamorphosis occur in such a natural way despite all of the hardships she has faced. She has what it takes to be a certified professional midwife!

Now that she is finally nearing the finish line, I would love to offer her the support she needs to get through the final push! She has given so much to the community already, now I am asking for help from the community to show our gratitude. Her husband being the primary bread winner means there is little wiggle room to financially be able to afford the fees she needs to submit the rest of her application, take the test, or purchase necessary (& costly!) equipment.

The cost of the last phases of her midwifery application and the cost of her exam total ~$1800. I am hoping we can raise enough to get her exam/application fees covered & maybe a little extra to put towards her equipment!!
