Empower Ally: Fund Her Master's in Conservation

My name is Alanie (Ally) Rael and I am excited to share that in August, I will begin pursuing a Master’s in Conservation Leadership full-time at Colorado State University! My goal to become a conservation expert is driven by my love for nature and my passion for supporting my New Mexico community. Achieving this milestone is the first step in, what I plan to be, a long and impactful career in sustainability.

Donating will help me to be able to pay for tuition and fees, and will also support my living expenses while I’m in Fort Collins. This is the only time I’ll be asking for GoFund Me donations for my graduate education, so I have set my asking price at what I expect to need throughout my entire program, in addition to what I’ve received in scholarships. I am hopeful that I can receive full funding between scholarships, grants and donations like yours.

Helping to fund me also means helping to support more women of color in STEM. Diversity in conservation fields is essential for making this work inclusive and accessible for all.
