I was recently accepted into cosmetology school, and while I’m beyond excited, I’m also stepping into this chapter with a lot of faith and determination.

My total tuition is $19,110, and I am currently applying for financial aid, scholarships, and actively searching for work. Even with those efforts, I may still have a large gap — which is why I’m reaching out for support.

I don’t currently have a job, but I am applying every day and have also been taking other trade classes so I can secure a higher-paying job while I work toward becoming certified. I am doing everything I can on my end.

Cosmetology is more than a career to me. It’s a way to help people feel confident, seen, and beautiful — simply by being myself and staying kind, respectful, and considerate. I want to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, valued, and uplifted.
