My name is Adele and my battle with alcohol has been rough. I'm 47 years old and have a 7-year-old daughter. My husband works as a nurse, but with one income he can't afford to send me to school. We have a mortgage, car payments, a house that's in constant need of repairs, and medical bills.
I just successfully completed a substance abuse recovery program at Moving Mountains in Randolph, NJ. It's been a long 5 months. I stayed in their housing treatment program, so my husband's paycheck took a huge hit (I don't have family in the area to help take care of her). By the grace of God, I'm sober and healthy. I would love to get a job at Newton Hospital, but I don't have any skills. There's a facility called Ace Healthcare Training Institute in Dover, NJ that offers a Patient Care Technician program. My husband has connections at the hospital and can assist in getting me a job; I just need the training.
The total cost of the program is $5,200, but they are currently offering this course at a promotional rate of $4,500. If paid in full upon enrollment, a discount of 5% is applied. I haven't worked in 8 years and would really love to get a job that gives me a purpose outside of being a stay-at-home mom. It's a 14-week course from 9 am-2 pm, which is feasible because my daughter will be in school.
