I am supporting a child, forced to raise his siblings (Kebba-3{brother}, Adama{sister}-5) alone in The Gambia, with clean water, simple foods and other necessities. He is becoming a leader in his house, as a man that is not normal. Most give in to the militia life that encourages murder, rape and theft to "pay" dues to the next man up.
At the moment, he is also taking care of his elderly grandmother (69). Henna is able to sell products in a market setting. Food sells best; that is what he bought and sold with my last donation. The trek to the Forrest to find sellable good takes a whole day. Anything helps!
