Empower a Poet's Journey to Ireland

In July of 2024 I was the winner of a Sligo Scholars scholarship through Tuleburg Press. This allowed me to travel to Sligo Ireland to attend the Yeats International Summer School. Including airfare, lodging in Sligo and Dublin, and full access to the Summer school program, the scholarship gave me the opportunity to immerse myself in a culture rich in musical and literary history. It was a truly life changing experience through which I made many connections with scholars and writers from around the globe.

I now have the opportunity to move to Ireland on a permanent basis, while working with the Sligo Scholarship program. I will be attending the Winter school at the Yeats Academy at the end of January, and thus will begin my new life. I currently have airfare covered but no long term lodging arrangements at this time.

Any and all support you give will go directly to covering my basic survival needs as I work to establish employment and housing. This move has required me to downsize considerably, so I will also need to replace some of my sound equipment when I get settled.
