Nafi is one of the students at The Gambia Academy, where I recently shared a photography course.

Nafi has a natural eye for capturing honest moments. Her vision is to tell the everyday stories of her community—especially those of people facing challenges that often go unseen—through the lens of humanitarian photography.

To begin this journey, she needs a mid-range (second-hand) camera — a tool to help her learn, grow, and bring her vision to life. Supporting Nafi means investing not just in a camera, but in a bridge between cultures, and giving a voice from within the community the chance to share genuine and heartfelt stories.
