I am 4th degree black belt, and I have an international masters certificate from Kukkiwon.

I am fundraising for the World Taekwondo Championship and preparation camps. I will represent the para Poomsae team as a visually impaired athlete. Team USA will not be funding para Poomsae athletes for this year's competition.

I have worked as an instructor at several Taekwondo studios, been a club coach at my University, and a Taekwondo camp counselor at elementary schools. I am currently not working due to health issue. The reason why I decided to compete was to improve my health through training.

The first preparation camp was on September 20th-21st. This camp was a mandatory trip in order to qualify for Worlds. I traveled to Salt Lake City, and is waiting for World Taekwondo to announce the competition destination.

I grew up with dealing with assumptions about my disability and discrimination, but I am attempting the World Championships as a para Taekwondo athlete to demonstrate that I have overcome the struggles inherent to my disability.

I plan to use the fund to get plane tickets, food, rides, and hotels.

The time between when WT announces the hosting county to the competition date is very short. I would need to buy ticket as soon as WT announces it. I would need my funds ready before then.

Any amount that can help me get to Worlds' would be greatly appreciated.
