After a 20 year absence I am FINALLY returning to Japan, this time to further launch my work. Over the four months I'm there, I will be attending Genki Language School in Tokyo for a 10 week program, then traveling to make further connections.

For years, I've been building my career as an Anime Youtuber as well as through other avenues to create meaning, community, and conversation in the anime community. This also has been helping me build up a means of livelihood for myself so that I can quit my day job and do the work I love full time. Immersing myself in Japanese language and culture right at the epicenter of anime in Tokyo, will enable me to better serve and realize my dream of being an active voice for positive change in the anime community.

Although I have planned meticulously and worked additional shifts for months for this trip, I am still running short on funds so I have set up this fundraiser so that I can travel with confidence. Your gift can help me better reach my goal as well as make essential contacts for sponsorships and other means to help me work fulltime in my content creation. I believe deep down that this will help me discover how to better follow my calling to connect with others who find healing and representation through anime
