I’ve had the honor of mentoring this incredible mom for over two years, and I’ve watched her transform into one of the most resilient and quietly powerful people I’ve ever met.

She has overcome significant challenges with grit, humility, and an unwavering love for her daughter—who is now preparing to start kindergarten this fall. At the same time, her mom is just two classes away from becoming a certified medical assistant—a milestone that will provide stability, better income, and long-term opportunity.

She’s raised a daughter, worked full time, and never stopped chasing her dream. All she needs now is a little help to finish what she started.

The final two classes cost $424, and to help her reduce work hours temporarily while finishing school, I am hoping to raise an additional small buffer for her of $400/month for three months. This support will help with:

• Back-to-school clothes and supplies for her daughter

• Gas and school materials

• Modest income support so she can focus on completing her program

Back to school means something different for this mom—it’s her daughter’s first year of kindergarten and her final step toward a career that will change both of their lives.

She is not someone who would ever ask for help lightly. But she’s learning that it’s okay to lean on people who believe in her. She’s incredibly moved by those who have already stepped up and overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and encouragement.
