Hello,

I wanted to find a way to glorify Gods name and share the blessing that He has been so kind to display so I prayed for Him to open my eyes and heart to someone in need.

There is a very kind student at my school, obtaining her doctorate degree as my fellow classmate, and she is from Africa. She is here on a sponsorship from her country as the first person to ever become a chiropractor. Someone was telling me how so many people complain about the conditions of going to school, and she is here being held to a higher standard to keep her funding. Not to mention, she is feeling isolated because she does not have a driver's license or a car. On top of obtaining this degree, she must take an Uber every time she wants to leave her apartment. Her sponsorship does not cover this expense. She is trying to get a job but with being a full time student sustaining high GPA and not having a car you can see how this is hard.

I have been a classmate with her for two years now and just heard her story. I heard this detail from someone who was occasionally giving her a ride to school to help out. She was my lab partner once and found out that I was getting engaged. She took such a big interest in my major life event and always checked in, being a kind person without even sharing the slightest detail about her situation. She is constantly helping other students and is never late or missing a class. I felt God really pulling on my heart, showing this is an opportunity to show what His people can do for those in need. She also serves at her church to top it off!

I’m hoping to raise some money to help her be able to afford Uber expenses and not feel so isolated by purchasing a uber card so that when she leaves this country and goes back to her home country, she can talk about the goodness and the kindness of God’s people during her time here.
