Empower a Dedicated Scholar and Family in Need

I'm a graduate teaching assistant who is doing a PhD in political science and religious studies. I have been struggling financially recently due to many responsibilities with very minimal resources. As an international student in the US, I cannot work more than 20 hours a week, and my salary almost covers half of my responsibilities.

I have a big family of seven people who I support. Recently, my car broke down, and I now have $5,000 in debt. I'm the only one who works in the family despite my physical disability. I have never created a GoFundMe application, but I don't have any other means recently.

I just passed my comprehensive exam and I can’t wait to be in the market and get a job in any industry. I teach ethics, religious studies, comparative politics, Arabic studies, and Islamic studies.
