As a child, my dream was always to be a cheerleader. I worked for years in dance and gymnastics in an attempt to pursue this goal. Growing up, I needed physical therapy for the rigidity in my body due to challenges of being autistic and difficulty with coordination and movement.

Making it onto this team showed me how far I have come. I hope to inspire other people like me who have had a struggle with what they are passionate about but used tenacity to work through it. Being part of this team with a community of athletes means the world to me. I want to continue to support my university and those around me to overcome endeavors with my journey. The cost is to cover the seasonal fee which includes coaching, athletic facility usage, travel expenses, and competition fees.
