Work and end-of-life care have been close to my heart for a majority of my life. I've been sitting bedside with the dying for close to 30 years. I'd like to go back to school, learn some new skills, and hopefully start my own business. At 48 years old, I am now planning for the rest of my life and trying to find a way to sustain it.

I have found a 12-week course with La Mort in their School of Sacred Dying. The course starts on January 8 and runs through March 26. The course itself costs $2,500. I have received a small scholarship from them to help cover a portion of the cost. I'm looking for any assistance to help me cover the rest of the course. I live on a very minimal budget from disability, so basically every dollar I receive is spoken for even before I'm able to spend it.
