Miesha is an essential worker and manager at Ralphs where she was unfortunately attacked by a customer who was ramming a shopping cart into her repeatedly because she asked him to wear a face mask. To stop this assault she pepper sprayed the customer to defend herself from any further harm and because of this she was suspended from work without pay by the company.

It isn’t fair for an employee to have to risk their  personal health and safety while at work for  trying to enforce the mask policy . This is a policy that is posted at every entrance leading into the store, that masks are required to be worn when entering and while shopping at the  grocery store.
