In the wake of Hurricane Melissa, both Rockhouse Hotel and Skylark Negril Beach Resort immediately opened their doors to house staff who were hardest hit, while sourcing critical materials and working side by side with them to rebuild their homes and lives.

After assessing the extent of the damage, it’s clear that the need for safe, secure housing is great. Of our 300 team members, about 25% suffered damage to their homes—some lost roofing, others lost everything. Eleven homes, like the one in this video, needed rebuilding.

Many of you — our loyal guests, friends, and extended family — have reached out asking how best to help. This Employee Relief Fund has been established to provide a direct way to support the incredible people whose warmth, hard work, and dedication make Rockhouse and Skylark what they are every single day.

Rockhouse and Skylark have underwritten the fund with an initial contribution of US$62,500 (JA $10 million). Our goal is to raise a total of US$125,000.

Your contribution will help us:

- Purchase building materials and essential supplies

- Where needed, cover contractor and repair costs

- Support our team through this crisis

100% of all donations will go directly toward assisting our employees and their families.
