Empire BBQ Food Truck Needs Your Help

Empire BBQ realizes that this crises is affecting all New Yorkers and wants to continue to help as much as possible during this time.  Empire BBQ was the first NYC food truck to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by working with the New York Food Truck Association (NYFTA) to provide hundreds of FREE meals to frontline medical workers and First Responders. We’re proud to be part of #frontlinefoodtrucks.

Unfortunately, like many New Yorkers, this pandemic has tremendously impacted our business. Empire BBQ is a small business started in Brooklyn in 2018.  As with many small businesses, we’ve poured everything into this truck.  With the arrival of the pandemic, and the canceling of hundreds of NYC Spring and Summer events, it’s impossible for us to recuperate the lost revenue.  Nevertheless, we continue to serve the people of our city.

We are currently seeking donations to assist us in continuing our operations. Any money raised from this GOFUNDME will be used only for our operating expenses.  We’re not looking to profit from this pandemic – we’re only looking to off-set our expenses so that we can continue to serve and support the medical workers and First Responders of NYC absolutely FREE of charge.   Any funds received above our expenses will be donated to local charities supporting the pandemic response.
